Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Hoover, AL. You will lead daily store operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, discipline, and upholding company policies. You will report to the Store Manager and support revenue plans and product presentation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and manage duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and set goals.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings.
• Foster an engaging, respectful team environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and recruitment/training of store personnel.
• Support cash handling, inventory accuracy, and store security.
• Lead in-store execution of selling strategies and visual standards.
