Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ashburn, GA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, supervise team, and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist with merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring a safe, clean, and friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates
