Qualifications

• Requires experience in retail or grocery management and supervision of staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Ability to interpret operational directives and maintain store standards.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a positive environment.
