Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development at our Newbury Park location. You will help with opening/closing, supervise associates, and ensure merchandising standards are maintained.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily store functions, addressing customer questions, organizing merchandise, processing directives, and supporting loss prevention. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
