Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, maximize sales and profitability through merchandising, expense and inventory management, and outstanding customer service.

The role requires retail management experience, staff training, HR tasks, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Compensation ranges hourly with benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to train and develop staff and meet store goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment, selection, and training of store personnel.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for staff.
• Support expense management and budgeting to meet targets.
• Monitor shrink and inventory to meet company plan.
• Maintain customer service standards and friendly store environment.
• Conduct regular merchandise inventory counts.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
