Job summary

America's Antique Mall in Streetsboro, OH is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager. This full-time role supports daily operations, leads staff, assists shoppers and vendors, and helps achieve booths and sales goals.

The position serves as Manager on Duty when assigned and requires excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills. You will lift up to 30 pounds and work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Three years of retail, customer-service, hospitality, or related experience required.
• One year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to take initiative.
• Comfortable directing employees and resolving concerns.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and certain holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service to shoppers and vendors
• Support daily operations and serve as Manager on Duty
• Assist with supervising, coaching, and training employees
• Open and close the store according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store
• Build positive relationships with vendors
• Assist prospective vendors with booth and showcase rentals
• Help resolve shopper and vendor concerns
• Support booth occupancy, shopper engagement, and sales goals
• Assist with register operations, cash handling, and daily paperwork
• Lead by example and promote a positive team environment
