Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation and deposits, and support loss prevention while maximizing profitability.

You will lead cash handling and refunds, assist with scheduling and training, and help push planograms and stock rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, display and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages; assist with deposits.
• Support store manager in the manager's absence.
