Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Hurricane, Utah to support store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, merchandising, stocking, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced team, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks frequently.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure policy compliance by associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
