Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a full-time Store Manager to lead operations at Milpitas Store 116. You will drive customer service, staff morale, and daily store performance while safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include conducting weekly management meetings, overseeing cash handling, training employees, achieving revenue and profit targets, and maintaining safety and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• Proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide high profile leadership and direction by maintaining positive customer service and employee morale.
• Accountable for all aspects of store operations.
• Conduct weekly store management meetings, as well as daily huddles.
• Ensure safety and security is maintained, reporting problems/hazards immediately.
• Meet store goals, both in revenue and profit.
• Reach daily, weekly, monthly production goals by monitoring processes and training staff; ensure proper rotation.
• Manage Supervisors and all employees in absence of Senior Retail Manager, including hiring, coaching, discipline, terminations, evaluations and wage adjustments.
• Follow the LOD checklist and conduct daily audits per the checklist.
• Ensure all SOPs are available and followed by all employees; standards met for production and merchandising.
• Accountable for cash register operations, monies received, daily deposits, receipts and inventory; protect assets.
• Train employees on company policies, procedures, safety, security and housekeeping.
• Ensure paperwork and reports are completed accurately and timely.
• Oversee training of community service clients assigned to the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Retail Manager.
