You will lead a team of clerks, coach on customer service, POS procedures, and upselling to drive sales while ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.

You will help control labor costs, manage inventory, verify deliveries, maintain pricing accuracy, and uphold a clean, well-stocked store image.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in retail or completed Store Assistant Manager training.
• Ability to travel independently.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Available to support 24/7 operations and ensure proper staffing.
• Own reliable transportation to facilitate 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in recruiting and managing a team of sales clerks.
• Coach store clerks on customer service, POS procedures, and upselling.
• Enforce company policies and comply with laws and regulations.
• Supervise staff in Store Manager's absence with fairness and consistency.
• Assist in labor scheduling to minimize costs while ensuring adequate staffing.
• Help achieve sales goals and maximize store profitability.
• Identify shrink causes and help implement loss prevention measures.
• Handle bank deposits and accounting records in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and verify deliveries.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and ensure merchandise is in-code and saleable.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store image and encourage suggestive selling.
• Foster teamwork among clerks, supervisors, and vendors.
• Communicate significant events to management.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews.
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
