Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids is seeking a Retail Store Intern to assist the Retail Operations Lead with Beck’s retail and online store, gaining hands-on experience in the agriculture retail sector and contributing to in-store sales and inventory tasks. The internship runs May–August 2027, with furnished housing or a stipend provided, and a focus on professional development and practical projects.

• Complete training with Retail Operations Lead.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales and inventory activities surrounding Beck’s retail store.
• Restock merchandise in showroom.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the store and inventory room.
• Print ecommerce and/or email orders, package, and ship promptly.
• Tag and stock new inventory after receipt and approval by Retail Operations Lead.
• Collaborate with Country Store team on ideas, needs, opportunities, challenges.
• Communicate low stock items and reorder items to Retail Operations Lead.
• Travel to Beck’s events to set up and tear down the Mobile Store, including overnight events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements

Education and training:

• Complete training with Retail Operations Lead

Technical knowledge:

• Basic computer and current software skills.
• Willingness to learn Lightspeed point of purchase software

Experience:

• Demonstrated through previous work experience that individual is qualified to assist Retail Operations Lead and to perform excellent customer service.
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must able to lift heavy boxes and totes.
• Possess a high level of attention to detail.
