Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids invites a Paid Internship from May through August 2027 to assist the Retail Operations Lead with Beck’s retail and online store. This role offers hands-on experience in sales, inventory, and customer service within a family-oriented agricultural business.

Housing is provided or a stipend, and interns gain exposure to events, merchandise, and ecommerce processes while developing professional skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Complete training with Retail Operations Lead.
• Basic computer and current software skills.
• Willingness to learn Lightspeed point of purchase software.
• Demonstrated through previous work experience that you can assist Retail Operations Lead and provide excellent customer service.
• Fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes and totes.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales and inventory activities surrounding Beck’s retail store.
• Restock merchandise in showroom.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the store and inventory room.
• Print ecommerce and/or email orders, package, and ship promptly.
• Tag and stock new inventory after received and approved by Retail Operations Lead.
• Collaborate with Country Store team on needs and opportunities.
• Communicate low stock items and reorder items to Retail Operations Lead.
• Travel to Beck’s events to set up and tear down the Mobile Store, including overnight events.
• Perform other duties as required by Leadership Team and Retail Operations Lead.

This position is responsible for assisting the Retail Operations Lead with Beck’s retail and online store.

• Communicate low stock items and reorder items to Retail Operations Lead
• Travel to various Beck’s events to set up and tear down the Mobile Store, some will be overnight events
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Leadership Team, Marketing Communications Manager, and Retail Operations Lead.

• Possess a high level of attention to detail.
