Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Auburn, AL is seeking a dedicated store cleaning associate to maintain the overall look and feel of the shop, ensuring cleanliness and safe conditions for customers and team members.

You will perform floor cleaning, restrooms, breakrooms, stock areas, assist with BOPIS and SFS, and provide friendly service to shoppers while upholding company standards. This role requires standing, lifting, and some evening/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
