ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate in Cranston, RI to support merchandising, stocking, cashier duties, and general store cleanliness. You will provide outstanding customer service while working closely with the Alfred team to ensure the store runs smoothly.

The role requires 30+ hours per week with starting wage of $19.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases over five years, reflecting ALDI's pay progression. Eligible benefits include 401(k) and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsabilités

• Merchandise and stock products to maintain organized shelves.
• Cashier daily customer transactions and operate POS system.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including stockrooms and aisles.
• Assist in curbside pickup and staging for timely deliveries.
• Follow merchandising plans to maximize sales and comply with policies.
• Collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the customer experience.
• Identify and report loss, hazards, or policy deviations to management.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss-reduction goals.
