Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Retail Store Associate with a focus on IKEA Food to create a positive shopping experience across departments.

You will actively assist customers, maintain clean and stocked areas, and share product knowledge to help customers make informed choices. This full-time role requires dedication to customer service, food safety, and teamwork, with hours between 34 and 40 per week and a compensation range listed above.

Responsibilities

• Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
• Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensures that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.
• Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices, resulting in a better overall shopping experience.
• Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
• Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
• Flow product to final selling location.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
• Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

What you'll be doing day to day

As a Retail Store Associate, floating between various departments (this particular position will mainly focus on IKEA food), contributing to a successful shopping experience, you will:

The pay range for this role is: $18.50-$26.14
