Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Phoenix, AZ is hiring for a Full-time store associate role focused on helping customers, maintaining displays, processing transactions, and delivering a seamless shopping experience.

You will learn product features, assist with food service items, restock inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards while contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
  • Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensures that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.
  • Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices, resulting in a better overall shopping experience.
  • Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
  • Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
  • Flow product to final selling location.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
  • Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

What you'll be doing day to day

JOB TYPE: Full time Permanent role.
