What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day
  • Actively approach customers requiring additional help to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
  • Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times.
  • Convey passion about IKEA products; actively learn about their features and benefits and share this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices.
  • Build furniture as needed for “In Shape As New,” introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation, and remodels.
  • Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
  • Flow product to the final selling location.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
  • Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
  • Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.
Job Type & Hours

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 34–40 hours per week. Must be available Monday to Sunday between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $17.77 – $25.31.
