Job summary

Schneider Saddlery Co. in Ohio is seeking a friendly Retail Store Associate to help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and support daily store operations.

You will share product knowledge, assist customers with equestrian supplies, and help keep the sales floor organized and ready for business. Part-time availability, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Equestrian experience preferred.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Are you passionate about horses and enjoy helping people? We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Store Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers while supporting daily store operations. You’ll share your product knowledge, assist customers in finding the right equestrian supplies, and help keep the store organized, stocked, and ready for business.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find the products they need.

• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on equestrian products, apparel, tack, and horse care supplies.

• Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments.

• Restock merchandise, maintain organized displays, and ensure products are properly priced and presented.

• Assist with tagging merchandise, and putting inventory away.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.

• Support promotional displays, sales initiatives, and store events.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goals and provide a positive customer experience.

• Complete assigned daily tasks and assist with other store needs as directed by management.
