Role Description

The Retail Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Wellington, FL. The Retail Associate will assist customers in the store, answer product-related questions within established guidelines, and provide a welcoming, informed experience for horse and pet owners. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging customers, recommending appropriate products, processing sales transactions, and handling phone inquiries. The role also involves stocking shelves, organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining a clean and safe retail environment, and supporting basic merchandising activities. The Retail Associate will collaborate with teammates, follow store policies and procedures, and uphold FarmVet’s standards for customer service and animal-focused care.

Qualifications

• Candidates are required to be 18 years or older, have a valid drivers license, and are able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and a focus on Customer Experience.
• Candidates should possess a commitment to Customer-focused Service and clear, professional Communication.
• Candidates should possess basic Inventory Management skills and attention to detail in handling products.
• Candidates should ideally have prior retail or customer service experience, preferably in animal health, equine, or pet-related environments.
