Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the back of house/receiving area and supervise associates. This role partners with store management to ensure efficient operations, merchandise flow, and safety compliance.

The supervisor will drive workload, coach staff, and help recruit and onboard new team members while supporting the store leadership to achieve results and growth across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Enforce asset protection strategies to reduce shortages and protect merchandise.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines and procedures.
• Direct associates, orchestrate workload, and monitor productivity and accuracy.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings and community partnerships.
