Burlington Stores, Inc. in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House and support store operations.

You will supervise receiving, merchandise flow, maintain cleanliness, enforce asset protection, and coach associates while partnering with store management. This role offers competitive pay and benefits as our team grows nationwide.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting cartons, and moving goods to the floor.
• Maintain back-of-house cleanliness, setup, and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Build a diverse, collaborative culture within the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and manage workload.
• Accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Engage in community relations programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedules.
