Job summary

Agri Supply is seeking a retail associate to help customers locate merchandise and keep shelves organized while maintaining displays. You will replenish stock, check prices, and assist shoppers on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for making sure that customers have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage.
• Replenishes inventory in bins, on the floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
• Straighten shelf inventory so labels face out and merchandise is neat, orderly, and easy to shop.
• Checks the condition and prices of the stock on the shelf as stock is being replenished. Rotates older stock to the front of the shelf.
• Marks identifying codes, figures, price tags, or letters on merchandise
• Move, handle, and transport finished products, materials, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation
• Providecustomer service while working in a visible space on the floor
• Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height, weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
• Maintains inventory and other stock records.
• Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves), and dispose of trash
• Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information
• Any and all other duties assigned by management

During the job, employees are regularly required tostand, sit, and/or walkfor extended periods, use their hands tohandle or control objects, andperform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
