Job summary

Cavender’s in Concord, NC is looking for a Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, keeping the sales floor and backroom organized, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

You will help prepare merchandise for sale, follow Cavender’s standards, and collaborate with the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and efficient product flow. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds during shifts.
• Able to read and understand English.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Accurately stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom while following standards.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, and placement before stocking.
• Organize back stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, returns as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom.
• Assist with merchandising projects, floor moves, and display maintenance.
• Report safety concerns to store management.
• Report to work on time and maintain a neat appearance.
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing to the appropriate store associate.
• Assist with other assigned store tasks.
• Any other duties as assigned.
