Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Westwego, LA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock, and keep the store safe and clean.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience. You will work a flexible schedule with attention to accuracy, teamwork, and friendly interactions with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
