Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Seasonal Retail Specialist for Miraval Austin Resort and Spa. You will support merchandising, inventory replenishment, receiving merchandise, and maintaining boutique presentation, contributing to exceptional guest experiences during the holiday season.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience.
• Strong ability to recommend products and provide personalized solutions based on guest needs.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn various software applications and retail point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge across retail categories.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 95% of the scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION WITH DATES OF EMPLOYMENT FROM 11/01/2026 THROUGH 01/14/2027. Upon successful completion of the seasonal assignment, employees may be considered for a part-time position based on business needs, performance, and overall assessment.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 95% of the scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience in a luxury or wellness environment.
• Experience with visual merchandising, receiving, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
• Experience achieving sales goals through consultative selling and personalized guest interactions.
• Knowledge of wellness, lifestyle, apparel, spa, or gift products.
• Experience working with retail inventory and point-of-sale systems.
