Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years hands-on Oracle RetailXstorePOS development and Oracle DB knowledge.
• 2–5 years experience with deal and promotion engines.
• 2–5 years experience with Java11/J2EE, SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• 3–5 years Spring and related frameworks and peripheral integrations like receipt printers, scanners, and PIN pads in XstorePOS.
• 2–5 years experience with payment integrations (e.g., Verifone, ACI, Adyen, Worldpay).
• 2–3 years experience with Oracle Xmobile and Thin Client architectures, and Android development in a retail domain.
• Experience realizing applications from conception to implementation and support.
• Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, iterative).
• Experience in analysis, design and programming.
• Experience with appropriate database technology.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code within applications and systems to implement capabilities and features.
• Improve performance and maintainability while reducing technical debt.
• Participate in Agile planning and provide guidance to the team.
• Advise on viable solutions to processes, technology, and interfaces.
• Foresee capacity requirements for component usage and identify limitations.
• Contribute to story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Develop software across multiple platforms to meet stakeholder needs.
• Understand architecture and write software and automated tests aligned with standards.
