Job summary

Lindt USA in New Jersey seeks a Shift Supervisor for our Lindt Chocolate Shop in Elizabeth. Lead daily store operations, drive sales, train staff, and uphold Lindt standards to deliver a premium in-store experience for customers.

Ideal candidates have a proven sales background, can coach others, and are comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays to support store coverage.

Qualifications

• Proven sales background.
• Ability to take direction and effectively delegate and execute through others.
• Basic math and/or accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store meets or exceeds weekly, monthly, annual sales plan and contributes to the district's sales plan.
• Model and communicate the store's sales mission to staff and develop commitments to sales results.
• Supervise staff to achieve sales goals and KPIs and external sales opportunities.
• Uphold Lindt standards (4 Moments of Influence, dress code, up-selling, passion, sales focus).
• Monitor stock levels and escalate to Store Management to avoid stockouts/overstocks.
• Train sales staff per Lindt guidelines to ensure a knowledgeable, friendly, well-trained team.
• Train staff in sales techniques and product knowledge; ensure brand is represented.
• Escalate issues professionally and promptly.
• Ensure store meets operational controls and compliance.
• Inventory control / shrink; Cash management (POS, paperwork, logs, policies); QA policies; maintain cleanliness.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
