Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to be a frontline leader, maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store while supporting daily operations and delivering excellent customer service.

You will oversee inventory, assist management, supervise and train staff, and ensure cash integrity and smooth POS operations. Growth opportunities exist within this family-owned business with a long-standing presence.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership.
• 1+ year of proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations.
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.
• Supervise and train team members, fostering a positive work environment.
