Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. is seeking self-motivated individuals with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, physical work environment.

The role focuses on merchandising and ensuring high standards for planograms, displays, pricing, and customer service. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, retail/merchandising experience, basic computer skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – able to login and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising or health and beauty care products is helpful.
• Ability to read/write short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively to customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations with dollars and units.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement planograms.
• Set-up displays in accordance with planograms for seasonal and promotional products.
• Ensure proper pricing of products.
• Set up and reconfigure in-line sections as directed using established planograms.
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of in-line departments, and set-up of promotional displays.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with Imperial.
• Other duties as needed.

• Read and implement planograms

• Ensure proper pricing of product
• Setup and re configure in-line sections as directed utilizing established planogram
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of in-line departments, set-up of promotional and sales displays, and introduction and cut-in of new items.
• Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial
• Other duties as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Travel required, must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
