American Trailer Sales is seeking a Retail Service Manager to lead the daily service department in Boise, Idaho. You will oversee trailer repairs, manage parts and workflow, and ensure outstanding customer service from check-in to delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of management experience in service or retail settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive profitability while maintaining quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Service Operations: Coordinate and schedule trailer repairs to ensure timely completion; Manage repair parts ordering and inventory; Tag, organize, move, and track trailers; Review and approve repair estimates for accuracy and profitability; Ensure all completed work meets quality standards before delivery; Establish and maintain shop safety standards.
• Customer Experience: Serve as primary contact for customers; Communicate repair status and recommendations clearly; Resolve concerns and escalated issues; Build long-term relationships; Sell service work, maintenance programs, and parts; Drive department revenue; Monitor KPIs such as labor and parts sales, gross profit, shop productivity, customer satisfaction, and turnaround time.
• Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff; Conduct performance reviews; Foster a positive, high-performance culture; Collaborate with sales and store personnel.
