Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer Supervisor in North Aurora, IL. This full-time, unarmed position requires guarding the premises, directing visitors, and escorting vendors in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include logging data, patrolling, responding to alarms, reporting hazards, and maintaining PPE; shift is 7AM-3PM, Monday through Friday with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Security Officer License.
• Permanent Employee Registration Card.
• 20 hour basic training.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard in a retail setting, directing visitors, issuing access badges, and providing escorts as necessary.
• Log visitor data and other basic reports in the security computer system.
• Conduct foot patrols in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
• Look for and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain appropriate PPE and follow policies.
• Follow client site-specific duties outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours to fill open shifts as needed.
• Maintain ethical conduct, professionalism, and attendance compliance.
• Interact with customers, clients, vendors, and staff positively.

Education
