Allied Universal in Meridian, ID is hiring a Security Officer - Full Time Property Protection to monitor and protect tenants and visitors at a bustling retail and mall location. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

The role requires unarmed security, 18+ years old, a high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and license as applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Backgrounds considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail property, common areas, parking, entrances, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain awareness and deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior with a visible presence.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate information to site leadership.
