Allied Universal in Jonestown, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating as per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
