Job summary

Syntax, a leading managed cloud provider, seeks a Pre-Sales Retail Principal Consultant to lead SAP solution design for retail clients and support strategic pursuits. You will partner with sales, delivery, and SMEs to craft compelling SAP-based proposals and demonstrations across complex landscapes.

The ideal candidate brings extensive SAP consulting and pre-sales experience, strong retail process knowledge, and excellent communication to influence executive decisions and drive successful client

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales with client-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of retail processes: merchandising, supply chain, store ops, omnichannel, CX.
• Proven ability to lead discovery, shape solutions, and influence client decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with prospective retail clients to understand objectives and priorities.
• Design and present SAP solutions tailored to retail requirements and Syntax capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales to develop proposals, SOWs, estimates, and narratives.
• Support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses with industry insights.
• Deliver presentations, demos, workshops and executive discussions.
• Ensure feasibility, scalability, and alignment with best practices across teams.
