Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Peoria, IL is hiring a Sales Teammate to fulfill Buckle’s mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks such as cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning.

Compensation includes a base rate plus commission; pay range is $15-$17 per hour. Final offers depend on skill, experience, location and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service across Front, floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Perform merchandising tasks, such as handling freight, re-merchandising, pricing, and displays.
