The Buckle, Inc. is hiring a Sales Teammate in DeKalb, IL to support our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. You will perform cashiering, merchandising, and store operational tasks as part of a energetic team.

The role offers hourly pay of $15-$17 plus commission, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more. A strong customer service focus and ability to manage up-front store tasks are required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing that knowledge with the Team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Remain consistent on personal sales and support the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG).
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service throughout the store in Front, sales floor, fitting rooms, and the register area.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise.
• Check out and bag purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Know exchange and return procedures and assist Guests.
