What you'll be doing day to day
Oversee the daily operations of the sales floor team to ensure a consistent product range presentation and customer shopping experience.
Provide a great IKEA shopping and brand experience to encourage repeat visits by maintaining store merchandising standards and ensuring excellent customer interactions.
Hire, onboard, and train co-workers. Develop individual growth plans, manage resource planning, and handle performance issues.
Drive sales by ensuring co-workers have the necessary product knowledge, tools, and resources to actively sell and meet standards.
Monitor sales, supply, customer insights, and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure the sales location management (SLM) system is in place to meet customer needs, with products available at all times.
Implement the commercial calendar, strategies, and work briefs in collaboration with stakeholders.
Plan and execute activities and add-ons across the store in partnership with the communications team.
Handle customer and co-worker issues promptly and positively.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented industry (service or retail).
Experience leading and developing teams, preferably in retail.
Experience in customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
Physical demands include frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling (26-50 lbs), and standing/walking more than 46% of the time.

The full hourly range for this role is $23.61 - $33.00.
