You will support the Shop Manager, motivate staff to hit individual and team targets, ensure merchandising standards, and handle cash and banking procedures. This role emphasizes training, development, and delivering a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
• Proven success in developing, motivating, training, and coaching employees.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, cash handling, and merchandising skills.
• Ability to follow, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Strong work performance and ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities.
• Proficiency in learning new technologies quickly and managing change efficiently, proactively and positively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager in providing effective leadership to the retail team and fostering a sales- and customer-focused environment.
• Motivate and guide team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail location in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Resolve customer and employee concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Aid in training and developing team members on company programs, policies, and procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers through effective engagement.
• Manage cash handling procedures, protection of company assets, and banking.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management, maintaining accurate levels and communicating needs and trends to management.
• Submit required paperwork in a timely manner, including payroll approvals and other administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
