Job summary

Charlie's Produce is seeking a Retail Sales Support Specialist to be the primary contact for retail customers, helping with deli sales and daily orders while learning the business from the ground up.

In a fast-paced environment you’ll build relationships, coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Operations, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Starting at $23/hour with potential 90-day raises and yearly reviews, plus comprehensive benefits.

Job Description

We're looking for aRetail Sales Support Specialistto join our team. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for retail customers, supporting deli sales each morning and retail customer orders each afternoon. You'll use your knowledge of fresh products, ordering processes, and customer service to help customers receive the right products at the right time.

What You'll Do

• Build strong relationships with retail customers by providing responsive, friendly service
• Contact assigned customers each day to collect and enter produce and deli orders
• Process new orders, order changes, cancellations, and credits accurately
• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, availability, and promotions
• Recommend seasonal products and communicate inventory updates
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Resolve customer concerns quickly while maintaining a high level of service
• Perform warehouse walks to monitor inventory, product quality, and availability
• Stay informed on seasonal produce, deli offerings, and market trends
• Maintain accurate customer records and order information using company systems
• Support additional sales and operational projects as needed

What Makes You Successful

Qualifications
