Job summary

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor for our Holt Shop. This part-time role supports the Shop Manager, acts as Duty Manager in their absence, and leads a team of volunteers to maximise income from donated goods, Gift Aid, and eCommerce.

You will engage customers and the local community, maintain high standards of displays and presentation, recruit/train volunteers, and help drive sales targets while working two days across a seven-day week, including

Qualifications

• Part-time Retail Sales Supervisor with weekend rotation.
• Experience leading volunteers or teams desirable.
• Commitment to high standards of display and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager in achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of display, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Promote Gift Aid and help grow our eCommerce presence.
• Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive environment.
• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.

As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager, acting as Duty Manager in their absence. You’ll also help lead and inspire our amazing volunteer team, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.

Our Holt shop is set in the heart if this historic Georgian market town, it is one of our Boutique shops selling higher priced top-quality brands that gets donated across all of our other shops. Despite its size Holt is one of our busiest shops especially at the weekend and during the holiday season.
