Bob Evans Farms, Inc. invites you to join a 10-week Sales Department internship in New Albany, OH. You will assist in strategic sales planning, work with a Trade Manager on the 4P's, and analyze ROI to support growth and profitability.

You'll develop quantitative, analytical, and presentation skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to real business projects that impact retail programs and brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative, analytical and presentation skills with strong oral and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.
• Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of strategic sales and trade plans for Retail Sales Team
• Work with a Trade Manager mentor on fundamentals of the 4P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement) process focusing on promotional analysis
• Leverage data analytics to track ROI of Sales/Trade Investments
• Support customer specific programs that align with brand objectives to drive retail activities in support of the company’s growth and profit objectives
• Collaborate in the preparation of product mix reviews, submissions & daily imperatives
• Gather competitive intelligence and evaluate impact on the market
• Gain exposure from various different areas of the sales organization and cross functional teams to understand market data and analysis and what is takes for a product to go to market and drive results.
