Job summary

Safeway is looking for a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to help keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You will assist customers, locate items, stock shelves, and maintain displays across departments to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

You will rotate products, adjust pricing or signage, handle inventory tasks, and work with handheld devices while following safety guidelines. A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (18+ for some roles).
• Retail, stocking or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate equipment safely with training.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Read, write and follow instructions in English.
• Flexible schedule incl. mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and dress standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep store clean, organized and easy to shop; assist customers.
• Stock shelves, restock products, and ensure displays are appealing.
• Update pricing/ signage and maintain backroom organization.
• Assist across departments and help customers find products.
