Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Oregon (Safeway) seeks a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.

You will help customers locate items, restock shelves, and maintain displays across departments to help customers shop with ease. The role emphasizes accuracy in pricing, signage, and backroom organization, with an active day across different areas of the store.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements)
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and answer questions to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• Stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and maintain backroom organization
• Keep displays attractive and products available across departments throughout the day
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and cross-department collaboration to support store standards
• Operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, box cutters, handheld devices) per training
