Job summary

Safeway in Oregon is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You help customers locate items, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming environment across departments.

You may restock shelves, assist with selections, or help customers move through their shopping experience with ease. You will also keep products available and displays in good condition, stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and maintain

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years or older depending on role requirements).
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
