Job summary

Charter Communications, operating Spectrum stores, is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Specialist to promote and sell our portfolio of products and services to both existing and new customers. You’ll be the face of our stores, focused on delivering exceptional customer care and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role offers commission opportunities and requires a flexible schedule, physical stamina, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and exceed sales

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Spectrum products and services to customers.
• Enhance the customer experience and support sales goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and educate customers about products.
• Resell the value of Spectrum and build customer relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards.
• Deliver a welcoming store atmosphere and adhere to policies while participating in training programs.
