Job summary

The Children's Place in Morrow, Georgia is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, knowledge of products, and effective selling techniques while maintaining store cleanliness and merchandise presentation.

Key responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, handling stock and backroom operations, and assisting with the PLACE Card program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers; provide appropriate level of service.
• Explain promotions and product benefits; offer solutions for out-of-stock items when needed.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and discuss PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow visual standards for merchandise presentation and signage.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized, with a ready-for-customers environment and safety compliance.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Inform Store Leadership promptly of maintenance and facility needs to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Contribute to store goals with focused efforts and adaptability in stock processing.
