Job summary

Staples is hiring a Sales Specialist in Guntersville, AL to deliver excellent customer service and help customers find total solutions both in-store and via the kiosk. You will be part of a fun, team-oriented retail culture with immediate hiring and training provided.

Role involves creating a welcoming environment, staying current on tech offerings, and assisting on a variety of tasks on the sales floor, including cashiering and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs.
• Collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range and stand/walk for long periods.
• Preferred: experience selling products or services.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on technology products, offerings and services to offer a total solution.
• Respond quickly to customer requests and concerns on the sales floor.
• Ensure the Tech department achieves key metrics, including profitable sales.
• Be flexible on duties including cashiering, merchandising, returns, and other tasks.
