Job summary

Staples is hiring a Sales Specialist in Davenport, IA. You’ll help customers find total solutions in-store and at the kiosk, while staying current on technology products and services. You’ll contribute to a fun, team-oriented retail culture and participate in occasional in-person interviews after applying.

Training is provided and immediate interviewing may be scheduled. The role emphasizes strong customer service, flexibility in duties, and growth opportunities within Staples.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs.
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.
• Preferred but not required: experience selling products or services.

• Ensure the Tech department achieves key metrics, including profitable sales
• Be flexible on various responsibilities (e.g., cashier, merchandising, returns, other duties as assigned)
