Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and help keep the store clean and safe.

This role involves stocking shelves, assisting in other departments, complying with age verification for lottery and alcohol, and supporting a positive, fast-paced shopping experience. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales - ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including high-use restrooms, pumps, and lot areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store - sweep, mop, windows, and entryways.
• Be willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.
