Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Relief Representative to cover Sales Routes and support Sales Representatives when they are away. You will help grow the company portfolio, engage consumers at retail, and ensure compelling shelf displays and proper product rotation.

Ideal candidates bring proven sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a valid NYS driver’s license.

• A minimum of 1 year of sales or applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage of Sales Routes for the purpose of order taking and execution in the absence of Sales Representative.
• Participate in Team Sell Programs to increase visibility and drive sales objectives for the assigned team
• Build and Properly Merchandise Portfolio Product Displays
• Product rotation & freshness of stock displays and shelf space
• Understand POS Standards and Execution
• Manage retailer product locations, maintain a clean and organized back room
• Identify placement opportunities
• Execute delivery functions when deemed necessary
• Continually expand upon product knowledge of our portfolio
• Know competitions brands and how to sell against it
